She had been having chemotherapy treatment which had not gone well. Derek & Margaret were involved with the MAS from its inception and they will be known to many in the Northern Peakland Wessex and Wales & Marches. 16th January 10 - Cancellation of Peakland Walk http://www.mountainactivitysection.org.uk/MAS/Default.shtml Due to adverse weather conditions in the area the walk planned for Sunday 17th January has been cancelled. John Pearson Vice-President and Derek Price a previous Section Chairman were instrumental in building the Section after the reorganisation in 1987.
